Employee Spotlights
September 2002
Our September Spotlight shines on Louise Williams. Louise has
also been with Premier since it’s inception and previously worked with St.
Bethlehem Family Practice since 1988. She currently works at our Imaging Center
as a radiological technician. Louise was born in Champeaux Reau, France and is
the proud Mother to son, Travis, age 15. According to her co-workers at the
Imaging Center, Louise knows more about Clarksville and it’s people than the
yellow pages. Her best asset is her sense of humor and next to her son Travis,
Louise considers her family and church (Hilldale Baptist) the most important
things in her life. When asked about Louise the Imaging Center wrote:
Louise
She knows everyone’s name...she plays every child’s game;
She’s gentle and cute as a kitten...this Clarksville girl from Britain.
Miss innocent, wild child...could stop the world with her smile;
She has a heart of gold...a child who'll never grow old.
Never a day passes by...that something touches her heart and she cries;
She knows not lies...only strength of good in her eyes.
She lives her life thru fun...she lives life for her son;
From her convictions she never strays...she walks God’s ways.
If I could choose a Mom...If I could choose a daughter...If I wanted a true
friend...I’d only ask for one…
Louise...please!
August 2002
Kitty Stephens is our featured employee for this month. Kitty
works at our Surgery & Specialty office as an Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner.
She has been with Premier since it’s inception, but has been working with our
Orthopedists for over 15 years! Kitty says the most difficult part to her job is
putting up with the fact that she is an Alabama fan surrounded by UT fanatics.
Kitty has been happily divorced for 15 years. She is the mother of 2 daughters,
Kori, 20, and Mary Pat, 16, which according to Kitty can be 2 too many on any
given day! In her spare time she enjoys reading and watching her daughters play
softball. Her words of wisdom...the next best thing to play and winning is
playing and losing! If you are ever at Site 5, make it a point to meet Kitty!
July 2002
This month our employee spotlight focuses on Diane Chester.
Diane started with Children’s Clinic as a LPN in July of 1983 and obtained her
RN degree in 1996. She has been with Premier since it's inception and is
currently the Site Coordinator for the Internal Medicine Center. She currently
serves on the Premier Safety Committee as well as the Clinical Career Ladder
Committee. Diane has been married to Don for 23 years, and has 2 children,
Catherine and Ivan. In her spare time, she likes to read, travel, and garden.
Her motto for life is that “Two heads are better than one....Never be afraid
to seek help or the opinions of others."
June 2002
This
month our Spotlight shines on Lesa Goder. Lesa has also been with Premier since
it’s inception and previously worked with Clarksville Orthopedic Associates
since 1983. She is the Office Manager for our Central Office and the right arm
to our Chief Administrator, Bob McCorkle. She and her husband David will
celebrate their 23rd wedding anniversary this June. She is the mother of two -
Matthew, age 14, and Megan, age 5. In her spare time she enjoys baking, anything
sweet that is, scrap booking and working outside in the yard. When asked about
her most embarrassing moment she commented that if Siobhain Armstead gives you a
gift for your 40th birthday you better be careful who is around when you open
it! She declined to comment as to the most difficult part of her job but working
with Bob all day one can just imagine! Her words of wisdom...Always hope for the
best, be prepared for the worst and take whatever comes your way with a smile.
Next time you talk to Site 7 say “Hello” to Lesa.
